My business exists to help agency owners and small businesses put research and analytics to work. 

I don't believe in magic bullets. I don't believe that guesswork and chance are a good way to build a business. I believe that the best agencies are the ones that take time to do the best work they can for their clients. They use data to power and prove their ROI, and they care about the people they serve.

That's exactly what I help my clients to achieve. I help put the power of data (big & small) into the hands of businesses.

Often, businesses have problems. They know they need to fix the problem, but they don't always know how. They don't know what causes their problems, or how to even begin to solve them. These are the biggest problems I help clients with:

Becoming data-driven isn't as easy as a blog post or two makes it seem. Setting up, choosing what matters, using data to make decisions, measuring & reporting.... there's a lot to tackle.

The whole point of a business website is to market and sell. Whether that's your own agency site or client sites, you need to generate leads and sales.

So I help optimize websites for conversion. By telling better stories, by showing off your value, and by making it easier than ever to use your website as a sales tool.

Analytics power better services, it's true. But they also create powerful evidence about what your services do for your clients.

If agenices don't turn that evidence into case studies and other marketing material, they lose. They lose a huge opportunity to earn more clients and to charge the fees they deserve.

The biggest advantage I have is distance. Unlike the people in the business, who go head-to-head with overwhelming, frustrating problems every day, I get to step back and see the forest- in spite of all the trees.

When I hear about the problems my client's experience, I sniff out the cause like Sherlock Holmes and deal with it like Tywin Lannister.

What does success look like for my clients?


The outcome is what matters. You're an expert at what you do. You can probably get great outcomes by sheer experience and force of will. But who wants to keep playing that game for years?

My clients want better results and more clients. They want to become successfully data-driven. That's what I help them achieve.

About Ben

In 2013, I was 25 and looking for a way out of a job that I hated.

And  I mean that. I really, really hated my job. I pretty much made trash for a living. On night shift.

Like a lot of people, I started with the 4-Hour Work Week and YouTube videos. I bought stuff at local stores and re-sold it on Amazon for higher prices. Retail arbitrage.

I wanted to get rich quick.

Then I got a reality check.

I was on the phone with someone who had a real business. I wanted to buy his product at wholesale rates so that I could be his Amazon distributor, and he asked me some questions that impacted the rest of my life.

Mind blown gif"What else are you going to do? How are you going to market this in a way that adds value? Why should I let you do this instead of just listing it myself?"

I didn't have any clue how to do what he was talking about, but I knew I could figure it out. I've always been willing to do whatever it takes to do something the right way.

So, I started studying

First was copywriting. I bought books and courses, and taught myself how to write persuasive sales copy. I became a keyboard for hire who wrote what I was told.

Next came marketing strategy, eCommerce business models, web design, content marketing, CRO and analytics. My bookshelf grew into several shelves. My paycheck went into courses and mentoring.

Finally I realized that I could offer a lot more value to my clients if I stood up and helped them uncover and solve the problems that held them back, instead of just being an extra pair of hands.

Why not run an agency of my own?


I work with agencies to improve their services & grow their profits. I've been asked before why I don't start hiring myself instead of helping other people make more money.

Honestly, managing employees and tons of client isn't my thing. Which is fine with me, because I love helping others take control of their lives and their own path to success.

My talent lies in helping people. I take the wonderful things that others can do, and find the little improvements that can be made. Measuring, optimizing, tweaking. Until it goes from good to great.

Because anyone who does things that people love should be rewarded with big, fat paychecks. They deserve to be able to spend their time doing the things they love instead of just working all the time.

Outside of work


I live in gorgeous Southern Kentucky and enjoy hiking and kayaking with my wife. I enjoy strength sports and train at least 3 days a week.

I'm also an avid reader, lover of comedy & murder-mystery movies, and enjoy good cocktail recipes. If you ever want to talk cocktail recipes, I'm in.
